To be honest with you, I don’t keep up with upcoming releases unless it’s a part of a series that I’ve been following e.g. Harry Potter or The Fever Code. So I was a bit surprised to see that there was a new book from Jennifer Niven coming out soon. I loved All the Bright Places, so I was really hoping that the new book, Holding Up the Universe, would be as good.
It was even better.
(I just want to write a little bit about what’s going on in the world currently. These past few days have been dreary and I can feel my heart so heavy at times. It’s important in this dark time to look into ourselves and start making a good decision: whether we want to sit around and put blame without analyzing, or sit and pray rather than spreading unnecessary hate. Even if you don’t believe in religion it’s still better to keep silent instead of making judgments.)
Hey everyone! I’m back with a book review. This time it’s about All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I had this book on my top 5 TBR list, which I wrote about in this post. The hype of this book is ubiquitous, especially if you’re in the bookstagram community, that I was very intrigued to see what it’s all about. Then one of my good friends, Yuri (thank you!), gave me this book as a farewell gift in the last week of my time working at the previous job. After finishing the book, it’s safe to say that it has captured my heart and tear it into pieces. In a good way.
